Korea is a country that has 50 million people. It is a country with 5,000 years of history maintaining ethnicity despite invasions from China and Japan.
Due to a lot of difficulties, it is the world’s only divided country.

Now it has created a new word, ‘Hallyu’ with the K-POP on its back. Many Korean celebrities are spreading through the World, for example, singer Psy taking the second place in the billboard chart.
Furthermore, Korea’s plastic surgery technology is number 1 in the world. Although it followed the Japanese style 10-15 years ago, but it is the past. Plastic surgery for Korean is the basics for Korean women and it is thought of as something natural. 

Due to this, Korean women started to invest a lot in maintaining their appearances. I think they have all the knowhow in making themselves look more beautiful through cosmetics.
Korean cosmetics have developed a lot in each functional product line according to the trend. As Korea also has distinct seasons, cosmetics differ in spring, summer, fall and winter.
There are so many products that I sometime do not know them all. There is a reason to this. It is because the Korean society treats pretty and skinny women than other countries’ societies do.
According to a funny research result conducted in Korea, the ideal type of women that Korean males from teens to 70s like is pretty women. ^^

Due to this social atmosphere, Korean cosmetics have been able to develop steadily and due to the recent Chinese development, the demand has increased dramatically. Of course, due to the fierce competition, some products are thrown out after a short period of time. Thus, if you are using Korea cosmetics, it means that it is already verified in Korea.^^ Those products that are not acknowledged are thrown out in Korea.
