Although fake cosmetics do not exist, check for the expiration date.
Korea has a
sensitive law for products that people use. For elevators, it needs to have the
power to pull up weights that is 7 times more than what it is specified on the
description. Unlike that, the elevators used for carriages is only 2 times
more. Thus, if the cosmetics product has 1 year expiration date, it will be ok
to use it for around 3 more years in reality.
Korean people become afraid easily. It says the ratio of people with insurance is number one in the world. If there is a fire or an accident near their houses, the insurance registration rate increases dramatically. The reason why I am saying this is because people prefer products that are new despite their old ones being within the expiration date. It will be 10 times more for their children than themselves. ^^;
However, if the products are
on excessive sale, you could be suspicious of the expiration date. The products
delivered from Korea are all genuine but they can have short expiration date.
Thus, they induce purchase of these products through big sales (less than main
headquarters’ price + deliver fee).
